The new policy plan period has started. In the 2025 to 2028 period, the Mondriaan Fund will be working under the title Beyond the Centre, Beyond the Norm as it continues to champion a diverse and resilient visual arta and cultural heritage sector.
The range of grants remain largely unchanged. Various elements of the existing grants have been clarified, with a particular focus on practical applicability. An important change however is that the Art Connection grant will be replaced in spring 2025 by the new grant Art Heritage Festivals, which focuses on the presentation of art and/or heritage at a festival or comparable event. Th open call Heritage Media Digital will follow later this year, for the development of presentations and activities with digital media aimed at stimulating the engagement of the public with historical stories.
