Do you want to further develop yourself as an artist, curator or art observer by staying in a residency abroad? You may be eligible for one of the residencies offered by the Mondriaan Fund.
Visual artists, curators and art observers who want to deepen their practice and expand their network can apply for a work period abroad in a residency offered by the Mondriaan Fund. The contribution is intended for travel, accommodation and material costs. The rent for the studio and/or the living space is usually paid directly by the Mondriaan Fund.
The following residencies are offered in the Netherlands:
- Drawing Centre Diepenheim
- Pompgemaal
- Het Lage Noorden
- Make Eindhoven
- Het Luceberthuis
- Borderland Residencies
The deadline for these residencies is October 3, 2022, before 5:00 PM CET.
In addition, international residencies are also offered. You can apply for:
- Arts Initiative Tokyo – Japan
- Cemeti Institute for Art and Society – Yogyakarta, Indonesia
- Creative Residency Arita – Japan
- MMCA Residency Changdong – Seoul, South Korea
The deadline for applications for international residencies is 12 September 2022, before 5 PM CET.
You can apply for a maximum of 2 residencies at the same time and you must submit an application form separately for each application.
