New application round Orientation trip 2024

Are you a curator, researcher or visual artist with international ambitions? Would you like more insight into the international visual arts field? And broaden your international network? Maybe the orientation trip to Ghana and Ivory Coast from October 13 to 26, 2024 is something for you.

The Mondriaan Fund organizes an annual orientation trip for visual artists, curators and art mediators in the field of visual art to foreign regions that offer interesting opportunities for discovery. The purpose of these trips is to provide an overview of contemporary art scene in the country in question, to meet the local key figures and to introduce participants to the possibilities of exchange. By doing so international collaboration and dialogue between visual arts professionals is stimulated.

The program consists of visits to museums, art institutions, art venues, galleries, artist-in-residencies and meetings with artists, collectors and local key figures in the various cities.

Applications can be submitted until Thursday 2 May 2024 before 4:00 PM (CEST) / 10:00 AM (AST).
