Agnes Wegner

She is a cultural manager who previously worked as managing director of the Humboldt Lab Dahlem and the administrative director of ÜBER LEBENSKUNST at the House of World Cultures, both projects were funded by  the German Federal Cultural Foundation. From 2008 to 2011 she was the exhibition director of the Temporäre Kunsthalle Berlin, a privately funded institution for contemporary visual art. Nine shows were organized, including Phil Collin’s “Auto Kino” and John Bock’s “Fischgrätenmelkstand”.

Specializing in large-scale cultural projects, she worked in the sponsoring division of the International Film Festival Berlin. In 2007 she worked in the exhibition office of documenta 12 and as project coordinator in the frame of the art and culture program on the occasion of the World Cup 2006.

She studied art history and economics at the HU and FU Berlin.
