There he is developing a program of exhibitions and residencies which promotes cross-fertilization between disciplines, with a particular appetite for sound practices and vernacular culture.
A graduate of the Master of Science and Technology “Exhibition Professions” from the University of Rennes 2, Antoine Marchand began as Exhibition and Collection Manager at the Rochechouart Museum of Contemporary Art, between 2003 and 2005. He then worked for three years as Exhibition and Collection Manager for the Chaumont Graphic Design Festival, before occupying the position of Head of exhibitions and editions at the FRAC Champagne-Ardenne for nine years. He has also developed an activity as an art critic – mainly within the magazines 02 and Volume – and as an independent curator (projects notably at the Passerelle contemporary art center (Brest) and at the Maison Populaire (Montreuil)).
