Bernardo Follini is a curator based in Turin, Italy. He graduated in Science of Cultural Heritage at the Università Cattolica Milan with a thesis on the Dadaist and situationist legacy in artist’s books by Ed Ruscha.

In 2016 he co-founded Il Colorificio, a curatorial collective and project space in Milan, together with Michele Bertolino and Giulia Gregnanin. Since 2017 he is assistant curator at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. He is currently tutor in Cultural Studies and Curatorial Practice at CAMPO – Curatorial Course of Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. His research is recently focused on performativity, construction of sexuality and new representations of subjectivities – ranging from artistic practice to post-pornography – as theoretical frame of The Solar Anus (2019 – 2020), a year-long programme by Il Colorificio about sex and self-display.

Among his recent projects: the group show Brazil (Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, 2018); with Il Colorificio: Flashing and Flashing! (MAXXI Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo, Rome, 2019), Temporary Office for Curatorial Consulting (The Modern Institute, Glasgow, 2017).
