Claire Le Restif is director of Centre of Ivry – the Crédac since 2003 and curator of exhibitions. She has a master’s degree in History of Art / Crafts Exhibition (University of Rennes and Ecole Supérieure Internationale d’Art et Gestion). A special program of Crédac is the invitation of foreign artists and venues (Academia de Bellas Artes, Madrid, Art Center “Attitudes”, Geneva; AKSANAT Art Center, Istanbul; Kunstverein, Nuremberg; Baseland Kunsthaus, Basel) to show their work at Crédac.
Claire Le Restif receives frequently invitations to express her expert opinion at different boards: she was a member of the Comitee for art in the city of Paris from 2004 to 2009, member of the jury “Jeune Création” in 2005 and 2014, curator for the Altadis Prize in 2006, member of the jury of the “Salon de Montrouge” in 2009, of the public commissions under 1% in the Val de Marne and various degrees of art schools. From 2009 to 2012 she was the president of AAA (Association for Development of Art Centers in France).
She was also a member of the purchasing committee of the FRAC Bourgogne. Since 2015, she is part of the purchasing committee of the FRAC Pays-de-la-Loire. She is a member of IKT, Association of Commissioners and international art critics. From 2015, she is a professional associated to the Master L’Art contemporain et son exposition (Paris 4 / Sorbonne).
