Julia Rodrigues is an experienced curator and art advisor dedicated to the promotion of emerging talents and the development of art commissions. She has previously worked as a curator for the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (EACID) and coordinated the 27th Sao Paulo Biennal’s program of International Residencies.

Additionally, she was co-director for the artist-run-gallery IMO in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2013, she has co- founded together with Francesca Astesani the curatorial agency South into North which works is grounded on a particular interest for contextual art practices and focus in new commissions. South into North have been involved in curating and producing a number of public artworks in Denmark, such as the New North Zealand Hospital in Hillerød and Bo-og dagtilbud Bybjergvej, among others.  For the past 5 years, Rodrigues joined  Kunsthal 44 Møen in Denmark, teaming up with René Block as curator and board member of the institution. She currently curating Full of Days at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen (fall 2024).
