Che received a MA in Art History and Theory (20th century) from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2001, and completed a post-MA program in Critical Studies at Malmö Art Academy, Lund University in 2006. At MOT, she has curated exhibitions including: wendelien van oldenborgh, unset onset (2022-22), MOT Annual 2021: a sea, a living room and a skull (2021), and Things Entangling (2020, co-curated with Élodie Royer), and Time of others (2015, co-curated with Reuben Keehan, Azusa Hashimoto and Michelle Ho).
Before joining the MOT, she worked as an independent curator and organized exhibitions including: The Demon of Comparisons (Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, 2009, co-curated with Binna Choi and Cosmin Costinas) and OK Video Festival (Galeri National Indonesia, 2005, co-curated with Ade Darmawan and Agung Hujatnikajenong), among others. Currently, Che is working with the Singaporean artist Ho Tzu Nyen on his solo exhibition Ho Tzu Nyen: A for Agents, to be held from April 6 until July 7, 2024 at MOT, and a large-scale group exhibition starting in August 2025 that marks the 30th anniversary of MOT’s opening.
