As an artist, he has had solo-shows in La Casa Encendida (Madrid, 2013), The White Cubicle Toilet Gallery (London, 2011) and La Loseta (San Juan, 2011), and participated in group shows at LACMA (Los Angeles, 2017), MAZ (Guadalajara, 2017) and MADC (San José, 2014), amongst others.
He is co-founder of Buró de Intervenciones Públicas, that develops projects in public spaces. He is co-founder and director of Proyectos Ultravioleta, a multivalent hybrid space/gallery for contemporary art, is co-founder / co-director of NuMu -Guatemala’s only contemporary art museum-. Additionally, has written for publications which include Mousse Magazine and South as a State of Mind, as well as texts for artist monographs of Carlos Amorales and Vivian Suter.
