Valerie Verhack has been curator of contemporary art at M Leuven since 2013 where she set up shows with artists like Thomas Demand, Ericka Beckman, Nel Aerts, Cécile B. Evans, Mary Reid Kelley and Oriol Vilanova.
Until 2019, Verhack was a member of Le Salon, an online platform about the Brussels contemporary arts scene that just recently published its anthology as a book. In 2011-2012, she coordinated the Vanhaerents Art Collection in Brussels. From an interest in both contemporary art and the historical avant-garde, she previously worked as a curator at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (2009-2011).
