Amy Jones is a curator, writer, and editor based between Cambridge and London.
Since summer 2024, she has been Curator at Wysing Arts Centre working on the redevelopment of the organizations commissions program, as well as overseeing residencies and events. In her previous role at Chisenhale Gallery, London, Jones curated the first UK solo exhibitions by Simnikiwe Buhlungu, Joshua Leon (both 2024), Lotus L. Kang (2023), and Nikita Gale (2022), among others. As an editor, her projects include the first publications by Simnikiwe Buhlungu (besides Puleng; dontsa-ring and roving preoccupations, Mousse Publishing 2025), Joshua Leon (The Process, Mousse Publishing, 2024) Benoît Piéron (Slumber Party, Mousse Publishing, 2023), Ayo Akingbade (Show Me the World Mister, Bookworks, 2023), and Lotus L. Kang (In Cascades, Hurtwood, 2023). Jones writes for international publications, including Mousse and Flash Art. She has previously held curatorial positions at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) and the Liverpool Biennial, and served as Director of The Royal Standard, Liverpool.
