Elise Lammer (born in Macau (CN), lives and works in Basel and Rome) was trained as a fine artist in Barcelona and holds an MFA in Curating from Goldsmiths College, London. As an artist, curator and writer she has participated in exhibitions in institutions and galleries internationally, including MAMCO (Geneva); The Schinkel Pavillon (Berlin); The Goethe Institut (Beijing, Hong Kong); Les Urbaines Festival (Lausanne); The South London Gallery (London), autocenter (Berlin); Centre Cuturel Suisse (Paris); Kunsthaus Langenthal (Langenthal, CH); MCBA (Lausanne)
Between 2014 and 2016 she was responsible for the exhibitions at APRA, the Adrian Piper Research Archive in Berlin, working toward Piper’s upcoming retrospective at the MoMA, New York. In 2017-18 she’s a research fellow at the Istituto Svizzero, the Swiss Institute in Rome.
