Julia Höner studied aesthetics and cultural studies in Hildesheim and London. After working as assistant curator at Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus in München and research assistant at European Kunsthalle in Cologne she started working at KAI 10 | ARTHENA FOUNDATION in 2018.
Amongst others, she has curated the exhibitions The Stubborn Life of Things, Less is a Bore, Affect Me. Social Media Images in Art and The Body in Pieces at KAI 10. She worked as a member of the expert panel for Kunststiftung NRW´s Junge Szene and is frequently lecturing at the University of Applied Science in Düsseldorf in the Master program Culture, Aesthetics and Media.
