She has a background in commissioning, developing and producing new contemporary art works with a specialism in performance and sound art. She is responsible for the development and delivery of exhibitions and public programs with a focus on British artists’ first solo exhibitions and international thematic group shows.
Lily manages a regular program at the South London Gallery The Conch for early career artists and supporting artists at the start of their careers is a key interest. Lily holds an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, she has also worked in commercial and artist-led galleries and is a visiting lecturer and mentor at UAL, The Slade and ACME Studios. Recent exhibitions at the South London Gallery include Nairy Baghramian, 2024, Motunrayo Akinola, 2024, Lagos Peckham Repeat, 2023; Simeon Barclay, 2022; Alice Theobald, 2022; Shut the Club Down, 2021.
