Works for the Estonian daily newspaper „Eesti Päevaleht” where he writes about music, art, literature, theatre, performing arts and anything in between.
Concentrating mainly on interviews, reviews and reports in the cultural department, he also hosts podcasts and helps with creating the program for Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn. Kormašov has a master’s degree in cultural journalism from Berlin University of Arts. He has published two autobiographical novels: one about his time as a recruit in the Estonian military, the second one about living abroad and working as a chef.
